Taking your backpack, filling it with your staff and buying your plane ticket and coming to Perú isn't enough to start your adventure in the land of the Inkas. Here you can find some tips for planning your travel to Cusco (or Cuzco) and get the most from your time and money in the way.

First...Check your documents.

Make sure your passport is up to date and that it will be valid for all the time and more than you plan to be outside. In some countries it's mandatory to ask for a visa before you travel, while in others you get one when you arrive like Perú. When you arrive in Perú, your passport will be stamped and asigned the period of time you can stay wich usually is 60 or 90 days. You'll also get a small paper with the same stamp called Tarjeta Andina de Migraciones or TAM, where you have to write your name and passport number, do not loss this paper.
